Welcome to new teaching staff
The Institute for Teaching and Learning (ITL) welcomes you to the University of Sydney. The ITL is the academic development unit of the University and as such we work with the University community to enhance and help assure the quality of teaching and student learning.
We realise you may not currently be in a teaching position, or alternatively that you may not be new to teaching. Nevertheless, we hope you find the information and resources on this website useful in your interactions with students. This University places a high priority on quality teaching and learning outcomes and we look forward to working with new staff at all levels of experience. We look forward to meeting some of you personally in the Principles and Practice of University Teaching and Learning (P&P) program which we offer several times a year for university teachers.
